Since the inception of Progeny, the assigned sex at birth has been called Gender. Gender is now Sex (assigned sex at birth) in the database and on the pedigree canvas. Sex will be used by the risk models.
Update Gender (gender identity) for individuals on the pedigree canvas. Gender is not used by the risk models.
Choose whether the pedigree is drawn using Sex or Gender
Within “Settings -> Pedigree Display” choose to have individuals displayed by Sex or Gender. If other settings on this settings tab apply across all pedigrees within your folder, this setting will also apply to all pedigrees. User could change this for printing and change back, as needed or however most applicable to situation.
